Boys Varsity Basketball Team

The Boys' Varsity Basketball Team is off to its best start in 15 years with a 5-0 record. The team, led by Tri-CAPT. Justin Fico, Brendan Farley, and Matt Trahan, has impressed the Middlesex League opposition with its great defence, allowing only 44 points per game. Most recently, the team captured its third Wilmington Holiday championship on Dec. 28, by defeating host Wilmington 55-39. Sophomore Zach Hurynowicz was named MVP, as Matt Trahan was also named to the All-Tounrament team.Brendan Farley lead the scoring with 19 points, while defensive star Justin Fico shut down Wilmington's top scorer. On December 30 the Red Devils extended its' record to 5-0 with a 62-50 victory over Reading H.S, giving coach Nick Papas his 400th Career victory.
